CDSD proposes a service fee to cover for the cost of costume, dance supplies, incentives to the performers. This money help pay the dance program throughout the year as we depend on it to be about thirty percent of our budget. In general, each young dancer would receive cash incentive for each time they perform. Many of our coordinators volunteer their time and energy to coordinate the performance as schedule.
Each request, regardless of how many dances or dancers involved, it takes 2 to 3 hours of preparation for each dancer to put on the costume. This is to ensure that we will be the highlight of your event and that we would professionally represent our great culture and the Cambodian performing arts. CDSD would appreciate you could provide a meal or snack for the dance troupe if the performance time is during meal time. This is not required but it is recommended and appreciated.
The CDSD will be happy to bring our troupe to your location that is within the San Diego city. If your event is outside San Diego city, we would like you to provide the transportation or CDSD will charge for the cost of renting vehicle to transport the dance troupe to your location. In the case of performing out of California, airfare should be considered.
